Scott Hughes
Director of Exploratory Biology
Scott is one of the founding scientists of Amphista Therapeutics and is now the Director of Exploratory Biology.
He completed his PhD in Pharmacology at the University of Toronto, where he used X-ray crystallography and biochemistry to guide the development of novel antimicrobial agents.
He then joined Alessio Ciulli’s group at the University of Dundee (Scotland, UK) to work in the field of targeted protein degradation, focusing on structure-based PROTAC design and the characterisation of novel PROTAC-induced ternary complexes.
He is a co-author on over 15 papers and patents.
